Annie “Ecstacy” Leung is the world’s premier professional female gamer, specializing in Guitar Hero. Annie is an accomplished competitor in both Guitar Hero III and World Tour. Currently she is the highest ranked female player in the world. Dedicated to win, Ecstacy trains at the same level any other athlete would by putting in countless hours to perfect her ability.
At the beginning of 2008 Ecstacy became the first female to start for an all-male team when it was announced that she was signed and sponsored by North America’s top professional gaming team Evil Geniuses. These events led up to her receiving the opportunity to instruct at Camp Fatal1ty (an institution dedicated to introducing competitive gaming to a younger audience). There she taught Unreal Tournament III to young gamers across the country which allowed her to share her passion for this industry to the next generation of professional gamers. This experience opened many doors to her, including opportunities to travel around the country performing sponsored “Shoot-Outs” for Intel, Kingston and being featured as a Pro player in the Fatal1ty Scene Tour. Annie hopes to be an inspiration to male and female gamers alike as she seeks to bring attention and status to eSports.
