What will you teach your customer?
Introduction:
This learning structure is for built for those who want to learn SF4 and become more than average player. I will help unlock hidden potential and see what you are truly made of.
How does it work:
I will have a couple of matches with you and from there I will know what you need to work and what section you start with and if I see that you are having a hard time with the basics and guess what? That’s where we are going to start. If I feel that you are more than a beginner then we will skip a section and take it from there. (roughly 30 mins of gameplay)
I won’t lie to you. I will tell you where you stand.
Basics:
This section will help get use to your character(s) and see if you can flow with your chosen fighter. This is broken down to seven sections:
- Pad/Stick hand placement
- Punches and Kicks
- Throws
- Focus Attacks (FA) and Focus Attacks Cancel Dash (FADC)
- Specials
- Supers
- Ultras
Intermediate:
This section will explain more when it comes to system of SF4. Including a proper breakdown of:
- 2 in 1
- Links
- Combos
- Supers Finishers and Setups
- Ultra Finishers and Setups
- Links to Supers
- EX moves effectiveness and ineffectiveness
- Damage inputs
- Stun numbers
- Command inputs and shortcuts (buffering)
Expert:
This section will bring the basics all together and put them into actual gameplay. Also this section will cover:
- Yaomi concept (layers)
- Setups (thinking 3 moves ahead and think fast when the first set doesn’t work)
- Counters
- What you should do in this situation
- What you shouldn’t do in this situation
- Playing under pressure and playing smarter
- Understanding frame data and how it can help and hurt you
What makes you a good tutor?
I have been playing SF (series) for almost 13 years. Granted each installment are different however I know how the game plays, (principals) and I know how to channel my teachings based from experience and knowledge that I have acquired over the years.
I consider myself a very smart player and know how to execute moves that prĂ©cised moment when they are needed. I know what works and what doesn’t. I have head full of information, resources and overall knowledge that I can teach anyone.
I have traveled to many places for a good number of tourneys. In my list of tourneys there are a good number that are missing because I don’t remember the full details so I didn’t bother.
I know what I can and cannot do. I won’t steer you on the wrong path or pretend I don’t know what I am talking about. If I don’t know something I will find out the answer to any question, meet any concerns and put any worries at ease.
So my future students; I look forward to teach the way of a Street Fighter.
What System do you play?
