Im new to the site, what is the site about?

First off, welcome. The site is a global directory of gamer tutors. You can book tutors from all over the world to train you in your desired game. Also you can opt in to become a tutor.

Is this a scam? this seems too good to be true

No no no, this isnt a scam. Its a legitimate business and growing daily, there is a maket for gamers to purchase lessons. My contact details are embedded in the domains whois, its my home address. Scammers don't leave trails.

How do I contact the staff of PGT?

Use our support form, located at the top of the page.

Live support, where is it?

Go to 'Support > Live Support', if you are logged in you will see a text box of the right side. If we are available we will be able to offer live support.

Do you have support on IM?

I cannot find the prices of the tutors, why?

You need to create a new account or login to view the prices.

Some tutors have 2 prices, why?

Some tutors offer 1 lesson tutoring and bulk lesson packages which will train you much more professionally.

I've booked, where is the tutor?

The tutor has 3 days to contact you to arrange the tutoring. In some cases its instant if the tutor is available.

If I book a tutor and he doesnt turn up, what happens?

You have 2 options, we have a very good backup tutor for every game on the site. However if you want a refund, we will send it to you.

I've had my session and am happy

You can post a review on the tutor, giving him a star rating and comment for the world to see.

I've had my session and not happy

Tell us the problem and we will try and fix it, however you will get a full 100% refund.

Do you only accept Paypal?

Unfortunatly yes for now.

Face-to-face booking how does it work?

You book a face-to-face tutor similar to the online tutors, then you and the tutor arrange a meeting place or venue to tutor.

I've booked a tutor, but I want to change

If you have changed your mind of a tutor session, as long as we have not sent the contact details can get a full refund or change the tutor.

How can I be a tutor?

You need to register an account before you can start your tutor application. Once logged in, look at your control panel and click 'Tutor application form'.

Do you accept only Pro Gamers as tutors?

No, we accept Elite, Semi-Pro & Pro Gamers. Basically if you have skills that you can tutor, you can be a gamer trainer on the site.

Do I need to send you payment?

No, we send you payments. We will never ask for your passwords for Paypal or credit card details.

How does it work?

You need to create an account on the site before you can start the tutoring application. Once registered you can start the application process. When the application gets pushed to live customers then can view your online profile.

How does the payment system work?

When you get the booking, I get the full payment. I hold the payment until after the lesson, once the customer is happy I then release the funds to you.

How do I know if I get a booking?

I send you and the customer the contact details, its upto you to arrange the training session.

So how does PGT make money from the site?

We take a 15% commission per booking. If you charge $10 per hour, you will end up with $8.50 per hour.

Any other fees that I have to pay?

No, apart from the transfer fee from Paypal to Paypal. This is totally out of my hands, however as the site picks up I will be opting into a payment gateway that can accept online credit cards without any paypal registration.

My application isnt live, is their a problem?

I have to review the application, in most cases it can take upto a day to activate. If you are worried that its not live after 24 hours, contact us on the support page.

What happens if I have a problem customer

Customers have the right to complain if they are not satified with the tutoring. I offer a full 100% refund if a customer has problems with you as a tutor. I will listen to both parties to find the cause of the problem & try and fix it.

How do I edit my application?

Log into the website, look on the Control Panel. There is a new link called 'Your Tutor Applications'. You can see all your applications here, you can click edit to change your price and details.

I want to delete my application

Log into the website, look on the Control Panel. There is a new link called 'Your Tutor Applications'. You will see a 'Delete' button, hit delete. This will unpublish your application to the public.

I hit delete by mistake, how do I get it back?

Send us a messege on the support page, we will undelete the application.

Can I submit multiple applications?

You can add as many applications as possible. The main rule is that it isn't a duplicate of another form. I.e. Same game and same character.

Face-to-face booking how does it work?

You get a booking like normal, then you arrange a meeting place or venue to tutor.

Tutor rights not to tutor an individual

If you get the customers details and wish not to tutor them, you can request a denial request on the support page. But you will need a valid reason. Doing this more than once frequently will result in loosing your application forms, also being revoked from adding more applications. If you are nervous regarding online tutoring, please do not apply to be one.

How much do we pay?

From every order you refer to the website we pay 3% commission. If a Pro Gamer charges $40 per hour, you would get $1.20 per order (if they were referred from your website).

How does the tracking work?

When someone visits the site for the 1st time it stores a referred cookie. This cookie lasts for 3 months.

What happens if someone visits the site from my site now and books in a month?

The cookie lasts for 3 months (from 1st visit) and will store the data on that computer. Even if they Google the site, your ref will be stored for that user and won't be overwritten by another referrer.

How do I get a tracking code for my website?

Fill in the form located in 'Advertising / Sponsoring' with your details and we will generate a referral code for you. Your code will look like this www.progamertraining.com/?ref=xxxxx

Podcast tracking

If you want to use podcast tracking then you can push a url verbally. We know the ?ref= will not work verbally, so we can do a www.programertraining.com/podcastname which will be added as a referral.

Can I test the referral process?

Login to the site and visit any tutor on the site and click the payment banner. Look for the name of the order on Paypal, expand the down arrow. The referral information is stored here.

How do you pay?

We will pay you per order when it has been completed. We can only send the payments through Paypal. Please take note on Paypal charges when recieving the commission as its out of our hands.

How can I advertise the site?

We will supply you with banners of most sizes, you can use these banners or use text links. A perfect way to make money would be from news articles or podcasts.
